Ps4 error game wont download after disc

If it still doesn't work, I'd go to your retailer and ask for a replacement disc as chances are your disc is indeed damaged. If this happens on all of your discs though, well. With any luck it would only be just a case of dirty lens. That can be cleaned with a lens cleaner. If cleaning the len wouldn't work then it likely would be a faulty laser and that's a bit of a more problematic thing. If your console isn't under warranty and cannot be sent to repair, it's kind of a lost cause.

Once you're done with that, it should install the rest within an hour.. Most likely the installation not completing itself on PS4 has to do with the cache.

I'd advice that you first uninstall the Madden 18 installation you have on your PS4 currently, then clear the cache, then try installing it again. Let the PlayStation 4 to fully power down and wait for 10 to 20 seconds. I'd prefer unplugging your PS4 from the power cord and waiting for a solid minute to make sure. Now try installing the game again. If it still does not work, disconnect the PS4 from the internet, uninstall the game again, clear the cache again, and try installing the game with your internet connection still off.

Sometimes it may take a few minutes for the game to realise that it has actually installed everything. So do give it a few minutes even if it looks like this method of installation didn't work.

This will put it into SAFE mode. Select option 5 to rebuild the database. This method scans the PlayStation 4 drive and creates a new database of all content. It works in the same way that you defrag your PC. This could take some time. The error you are seeing is one that pops up on the PS4 from time to time, it can be due to a number of things.
